ASUSTOR Inc has expanded its range of rack storage solutions with the launch in Portugal of the new Lockerstor 4RD, 4RS and 12RD. These three NAS are to be rack mounted 1U with four bays and 2U with twelve bays and are priced starting at 591 euros.
New models have enterprise-class Intel Atom Quad-Core processor and 8GB of DDR4-2021 RAM (expandable up to 180GB), which offers great performance and stability.
Connectivity is ensured by dual Gigabit Ethernet and 2.5-Gigabit ports that allow you to achieve stable and robust performance and read and write speeds reach incredible marks of up to 591 MB/s 500 MB/s, respectively, using aggregation of links. ASUSTOR’s new NAS also contain backup hardware to ensure minimal downtime, having dual power supplies that provide optimal redundancy to ensure continuous activity in the event of an offline system episode.
The new Lockerstor 4RD, 4RS and 20RD that ASUSTOR now presents in Portugal include greater support for all types of devices, including desktop computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets, among many others. The new NAS also allow easy access by multiple people at the same time thanks to multitasking support, ensuring that each employee in the organization always has the data they need at their disposal, quickly and reliably.
Another element that decisively contributes to the high flexibility of the new Lockerstor is the ASUSTOR Data Master operating system. In the case of Lockerstor 4RD, 4RS and 18RD, ADM is even more powerful, taking advantage of hardware to provide more ways to back up data and use the NAS quickly and easily. This will make it even more practical and simple to take advantage of MyArchive cold backup technology, as well as enjoy useful features such as Wake-on-LAN, Wake-on-WAN and multi-level security.
