Access to this service is simple: on thewebsiteof Samsung Portugal the customer will find a page with all the information about the service, also identified by the presence of the “Accessibility in LGP” logo symbolizing this service. The consumer, through a video call viaSkype with a Portuguese sign language interpreter, will be in contact with a Samsung assistant prepared to respond to various information – from support technical support, assistance requests, equipment specifications, warranties, among others. The customer can also find a Q&A section on the Samsung website, aimed at answering the most frequently asked questions about this service.

By providing technical support in Portuguese sign language, Samsung seeks to ensure “not only customer satisfaction with equipment, but also to have a positive impact on people’s daily lives and , in this particular case, of the deaf community, responding to the diverse needs of consumers and, thus, promoting inclusion, individual and collective development and contributing to a better, more accessible and informed world.”
With this collaboration, Samsung and Zonadvanced hope to continue to advance in the inclusion of this group in daily activities and in improving accessibility in the technological domain for these people. This initiative is part of Samsung’s ‘Technology with Purpose’ corporate program, with which it permanently collaborates with public and private entities in key areas such as education, culture, employability, quality of life and accessibility, breaking barriers through technology and with this at the service of people and with a positive impact on their lives.
