After a divorce, according to Anna Faris, there is a “change” that takes place. On Thursday’s episode of Chelsea Handler’s Dear Chelsea podcast, the 45-year-old actress shared details of divorcing her first two husbands. From 2004 to 2008, Faris was wed to Ben Indra, and from 2009 to 2018, she was wed to Chris Pratt, with whom she has a 9-year-old son named Jack.
She disclosed that she and director of photography Michael Barrett had eloped in July of last year. Faris said to Handler, “I’m like a divorced veteran since I’ve been divorced twice.
“The initial impact was severe. I changed into someone I wasn’t familiar with.
I’ve always been the type of person whose refrigerator was always stocked. I also hosted numerous meals. When I had friends, that was.”
She recalled how she ended her relationship with Indra and “found herself in this flat with only beer and mustard in the fridge.” “I was leaving the house frequently. I basically had no one to text or call and ask, “Hey, can I do this?”
The celebrity claimed that the experience was “very liberating” and that she “reverted” to being 17 again. I entered a bar and thought, “Look how scary I am.”
She Added that She Was “Terrified” as Well
“My worst fear was that I wouldn’t make a decent lover. I was really self-conscious about my body, especially when I was younger. Nobody was to witness it, that’s for sure.
But I would twirl around the periphery of it. I was yearning to be desired.”

Faris said of her marriage to Barrett: “It has been simpler for me to embrace a lot of love this time. I still have a hard time with it, but when I was younger, I must have unconsciously preferred a pursuit if there was a lot of love… Whatever it is, it does feel healthier. It seems possible to adore me.”
On her Anna Faris is Unqualified podcast in May 2021, Faris discussed her divorces and stated that looking back, she now sees them differently than she did at the time.
After every breakup, “for me, I believe I eventually understand that there were a lot of things I really shouldn’t have disregarded,” Faris remarked. “It appears that my hand was coerced in retrospect.
It was never, in my opinion, a free choice.”
Faris also discussed breaking up her engagement with a caller on the program, which led her to imply that she believed she should have done the same.
Faris reflected, “I genuinely feel like breaking an engagement is a smarter, bolder, braver action than what I did.
Which was something along the lines of, “Well, I assume everyone is anticipating this, so let’s just do it.”
