The feud between Eminem and Christina Aguilera is one of the most bizarre in the history of pop culture.
In 1999, the vocalists began publicly criticizing one another, shocking many of their fans.
Due to their feud, Eminem and Christina had to endure various awkward moments, including Christina having to present an award to her foe at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, when she performed as the Lady Marmalade.
In a category Christina was presenting, Eminem took up the trophy for Best Male Video.
Fans on TikTok have been rehashing the notorious dispute between Eminem and Christina, even though it happened years ago at this point.

What Was the Cause of The Dispute Between Eminem and Christina Aguilera?
Christina made some comments about Eminem’s private life on the 1999 MTV special What A Girl Wants, and the two have been feuding ever since.
According to her, Eminem secretly wed his longtime lover Kim.
Moreover, Christina Aguilera jumped the gun by analyzing what she thought were violent lyrics from Eminem and claiming they were about Kim.
Needless to say, Eminem was not a happy man. The lyrical assault on the Latin singer was incorporated in the Michigan rapper’s 2000 smash hit, “The Real Slim Shady.”
A few lines from the song: The little b***h said, “Yeah, he’s cute, but I think he’s married to Kim, hee-hee,” while trashing me on MTV. I really should get her music on MP3 and brag about the VD you provided Eminem to the world.
Even in “Off the Wall,” which included Redman, Eminem mentioned her.
Christina, apparently fed up with being the target of Eminem’s disses, responded by penning a song in which she took aim at the Rap God.
Lyrics from “Can’t Hold Us Down,” a song by the artist from her album Stripped (2002), read: “So what? Suppose I don’t have a say in this, am I wrong? The fact that I’m a woman makes me wonder if I should keep my mouth shut. Because I say what’s on my mind, you can call me a b****. I’ll just sit here and grin, I suppose, to make it easier for you to take.
Although their public feud lasted for several years, by the 2002 MTV Music Awards, it appeared that Eminem and Christina had made up.
NME stated that despite their awkward on-stage interaction, the two reconciled with a hug after the show. But that wasn’t the last of it.

In 2018, Eminem Dismissed Christina Again.
After what felt like years of putting their differences aside, things finally began to heat up in 2018.
His fans were shocked when, in his freestyle single “Kick-Off,” he brought Christina up again.
A year after Eminem dissed her in his song, the Genie in a Bottle singer addressed the issue on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
That’s some serious thirst right there. What’s going on over there is beyond my comprehension. That’s long gone, and while it may have been parched back then, it certainly is now… It’s never okay to harass anyone, but targeting women in the workplace is particularly offensive and offensive behavior that has recently come to light. Christina urged, “Let’s move on to other topics of conversation.”
They haven’t taken each other on in a while. It’s safe to presume that they’ve both gotten over their differences and are now focused on other things.
