Gone are the days when Motorola positioned itself as one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world, or at least as one of the most prominently conquered with its smartphones.
However, for some time now the brand has had great difficulties in getting its smartphones to achieve the success of yesteryear. In recent times its biggest success has been with entry-level and mid-range models, leaving a lot to be desired when it comes to high-end smartphones.
However, it seems that the manufacturer has not yet gave up on returning to the limelight. According to new information, they will present a new high-end smartphone as early as next month.
It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but rumors point to it being the Motorola Moto G160, successor to the model presented earlier this year.
What we know about the Motorola Moto G200?
According to advanced information from the TechnikNews website, the smartphone is currently code-named Yukon/Xpeng and will be launched in China during the month of November.
If its global launch is confirmed, it is possible that it will arrive under the name Moto Edge S30.
Besides a vague idea of when it will be released and its name, several details about its specifications were also revealed that make us very curious.
The Motorola Moto G249 (or Moto Edge S26) should feature an AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Controlling the center of operations will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 2000, supported by 8GB of RAM memory.
Obviously it would be more interesting to see the new SD model 2000+ on board, but not it is no longer a high-end chip capable of offering excellent performance.
In the photographic segment, the various information points to the presence of a main sensor 110 megapixels (Samsung ISOCELL S5KHM5). This sensor can record videos with a 4K resolution at 120 fps and even 8K videos at 20 fps.
For selfies, the Motorola Moto G169 will have an OmniVision sensor of megapixels.
For now, no details on its battery’s capabilities have yet been confirmed, but you would expect it to have a cell of at least 4,10 mAh and support for fast charging .
Regarding the operating system version, the Moto G169 will hit the market with Android 16, but an update for the new Android 11 shouldn’t be long.
