Is there some kind of unwritten rule in Hollywood that any actor with the surname “Evans” is automatically a heartthrob? Luke Evans is a prime example.
The star of the new Apple TV Plus drama series Echo 3 has been open about his experiences in Hollywood as a gay actor. Is his relationship history as seamless as his experiences as a rising actor (back in the day, he’s obviously not a newcomer now)?
Luke was recently linked to Fran Tomas, a Spanish graphic designer. According to Just Jared, the couple was spotted kissing in Ibiza in August 2022.
Luke Has Been Candid About His Dating History and Hollywood Experiences.
When Luke accepted the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Man of the Year Award in 2020, he was quite humble. According to the actor, “Over the years, it may have appeared that I wasn’t the outspoken homosexual man that people expected of me. But, you see, I was only trying to be myself… to forge my own way. Making my own path means not following someone else’s.”
He quipped that people were frequently surprised to learn that the villain in Fast & Furious 6 was played by a gay man. Luke was romantically linked to Spanish model Jon Kortajarena a year after Fast & Furious 6 aired in theaters in 2013. From 2014 through 2016, the couple was together.
Luke stated clearly in his victory speech that he hoped his life thus far would assist LGBTQ+ populations to understand they were not alone. “I hope I brought hope to LGBT individuals, young and old, around the world, who may not have been able to come out, who struggle with it, or maybe in an area of the world where it’s illegal [to come out],” Luke said after speaking about forging his own way.

He thought that seeing gay actors like him in Hollywood would give those in vulnerable situations hope. He stated, “I hope that my experience might give them some hope. That they may realize that there are millions of others like them all around the world and that they are not alone.”
“Who we are, what we are, and who we love have no effect or influence on our abilities, goals, and talents,” Luke observed.
Luke, who dated actor Victor Turpin from 2018 to 2019 and art director Rafael Olarra from 2020 to 2021, appears to have found a better fit with his current partner Fran, who uploaded a cute photo of them together on his Instagram page in October 2022.
Fran’s upbeat personality suits the tone of Luke’s words. “Life is all about the memories, let’s make them count!” he writes in his Instagram bio.

On Wednesday, the 43-year-old Beauty and the Beast star was photographed packing on the PDA with Fran Tomas while enjoying a beach day in Ibiza, Spain (August 24).
According to a recent report in The Sun, Luke, and Fran, a Spanish graphic artist, have been dating for a year.
“The couple has been going from strength to strength and quietly traveling all over the world together,” a source told the site earlier. “They have similar interests, understand each other’s sense of humor, and complement each other well.”
