Who is Lee Jong Suk?
Known for his roles in Doctor Strange, Pinocchio, W, While You Were Sleeping and Big Mouth, Lee Jong Suk is a popular K-drama actor and model. Born on September 14, 1989, he was brought up in Yongin-si, South Korea.
Currently busy with a number of projects, Jong Suk began his modelling career at the Seoul Collection walkway in 2005 at the age of 15, making him the youngest male model to debut in the Seoul Collection program at Seoul Fashion Week. Following that, he made his first K-drama appearance with 2010’s Prosecutor Princess and his big screen debut with Ghost.

Lee’s Previous Relationships
There was speculation that the actor had a relationship with actress Park Shin Hye, whom the actor had met on the set. Photos of the tenderly hugging couple were even posted on Instagram.
Fans also discussed a possible romantic relationship between Lee and the lead singer of the all-female group “Miss A” Bae Suzy. The guy sharply denied these rumors.
While filming the drama “W”, fans noticed that Lee was having an affair with Han Hyo Joo. There was especially a lot of intrigue after their joint interview about this drama.
Who is Lee Jong Suk Currently Dating?
Lee Jong Suk is officially dating actor-singer IU of Hotel Del Luna. Their agencies confirmed their relationship after the South Korean news outlet Dispatch reported about them alongside an acquaintance who claimed that Lee Jong Suk and IU have been dating for almost four months now.
Reports also claimed that Lee Jong Suk and IU celebrated Christmas together in Nagoya, Japan this year. Following the dating rumors, the Doctor Stranger actor’s agency HighZium Studio released a statement. Soompi quoted them saying, “Hello. This is HighZium Studio. This is an official statement regarding the exclusive article about actor Lee Jong Suk. Actor Lee Jong Suk and IU recently progressed from being close acquaintances into being a couple, and they are maintaining a serious relationship.”
Soon after the announcement, Lee shared a letter on his fan café, in which he gave more details on their relationship.
Lee wrote that he and IU have been friends since his “mid-20s” and he had feelings for her even back then.
Who is IU?
Lee Ji-eun, known by her stage name IU, is what one would call a triple threat! Starting off her career as a singer and songwriter, she is also a beloved actress. Born on May 16, 1993, the idol-actress first grew to national fame with her song Good Day and has been unstoppable ever since.
Some of her best works include Blueming, Lilac, Love Poem and Bbibbi. As for acting, IU is known for her roles in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, My Mister, Hotel del Luna and Broker.
Prior to Jong Suk, IU had been in an on and off relationship with singer-songwriter Jang Ki-ha. However, they finally called it quits in 2017.
