Ashton Kutcher Talks About Reprising His Role In ‘That ‘90s Show’ Season 2; Weighs in on How Long the Show Series Last

It seems like famous American actor Ashton Kutcher is in the talks for returning to his spinoff the ‘The 70s Show’ for its second season. Ashton played the role of Michael Kelso in the show.

On being interviewed by an entertainment channel on 3rd February 2023, Ashton said that he had no clue about the show’s season 2. He said: “I don’t know. Nobody’s even asked me. “I have no idea. I’m not in the weeds on that one.”

The sitcom ‘The 90s Show’ used to air on FOX channel from 1998 to 2006. Ashton used to star in that series before his cameo in it. He stars in it with his real and on-screen wife Mila Kunis. Mila took her role back and plays Jackie Burkhart. The show, which is currently on Netflix, follows the lives of Eric and Donna’s daughter Leia Forman.

Leia is at her grandparent’s house in the show.

Ashton was asked about the show’s next season and what he thinks about the next generation in the show. He said that he is hopeful for the show’s long run and wants it to run for atleast 10 seasons.

He said that he wants the new generation to be able to remain on the show for a longer time and make it an even bigger franchise.

In his own words, “I hope those kids have 10 seasons of that show.” 

In its first season, the show gave every cast member sufficient and almost equal screen time, with only Danny Masterson being an exception. Danny is currently undergoing  trials for sexual assault.

Talking about Danny’s trials, Kutcher said: “Ultimately, I can’t know. I’m not the judge. I’m not the jury. I’m not the DA. I’m not the victim. And I’m not the accused, and so, in that case, I don’t have a space to comment.

I just don’t know.”

Although, Ashton hopes that Danny is found innocent but at the same time he wishes that no body feels that there rights have been violated in any way. He fully supports the decision of the law.
