Lance Michael Kerwin, an American actor who lived from November 6, 1960, to January 24, 2023, is best remembered for his work in the 1970s as a child and adolescent on television and in movies. He portrayed the lead characters in the made-for-TV movies Salem’s Lot and The Loneliest Runner, as well as the television series James at 15.

Former child star Lance Kerwin, who was known for the television series James at 15, Salem’s Lot, and The Loneliest Runner, has passed away. He was 62.
According to his daughter Savanah, Kerwin passed away on Tuesday morning. No specific cause of death was given.
His Works
In the 1976 NBC made-for-TV film The Loneliest Runner, directed by Michael Landon, he played the younger version of Landon’s character, a boy who enjoys running. Following that, he played the lead in the network’s 20-episode drama series James at 15 (later renamed James at 16), which debuted in 1977.
Salem’s Lot, a 1979 television horror miniseries based on Stephen King’s book of the same name, costarred Kerwin, David Soul, and James Mason. There were three Emmy nominations for the project.
