Kris Jordan, a Republican politician who served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives died on 27th February 2023 due to natural causes. He was 46 years old.
Who was Kris Jordan?
Kris Jordan was an American Politician in the Republican Party. Jordan was first elected to his first term as a Delaware county commissioner, of whom he was a lifelong resident, at the age of 25. He then became a state representative in 2008.
Jordan served eight years in the senate following which he was currently serving his third term as state representative for Ohio’s 60th District. He was known for his conservative views and was a very vocal advocate for limited government and individual liberty.
Jordan was a graduate of the Ohio State University and was an active member of the National Rifle Association, Delaware County Right to Life, and the Delaware County Farm Bureau.

Jordan’s Unexpected Death
Jordan’s death was reported by his Delaware County legislative colleague Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware), in a post on Facebook.
He mentioned in the post, “Kris has been a friend of mine since the early 90s…Through the years, we have given one another political advice, been friends, and always talked on a regular basis.”
“His death is a great loss to our county’s Republican Party, the Ohio Statehouse, and the conservative movement,” Brenner said.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine ordered flags at the Ohio Statehouse and at public buildings and grounds throughout Delaware County to be flown at half-staff until sunset on the day of Jordan’s funeral.
“Fran and I are shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Representative Kris Jordan,” DeWine said in a statement. “We extend our sincerest condolences to his entire family for this most unexpected loss. Kris will be remembered for his expertise as a legislator and his advocacy for the people of Delaware County.”
All of Jordan’s friends expressed their condolences for his three children, his former wife Melissa, and his family for losing him way too soon.
