Subsequently, the Grammy award-winning artist expressed her interest in a potential musical collaboration with Megan, who is 28 years old. “I was thinking that,” she explained. “I think that would really work… I love her whole mind.”

In addition to Megan, Shania Twain has recently expressed her desire to work with other artists as well. During the same Entertainment Tonight interview, she mentioned that she would be open to collaborating with Alanis Morissette– “We’ve crossed paths so many times over the years, and we just never did work together. We should, of course, as fellow Canadians.”

In an interview with People at the 2023 Grammys in February, Shania Twain expressed her desire to work with young artists who have drawn inspiration from her music and revealed her interest in hitting the studio with them.

“It’s true that I haven’t done a lot of collaborating. I’ve always written music that I’ve recorded myself for the most part, like pretty much 99.9% of the time,” said the star. “But at this point, I’d love to just have more fun getting together with other artists.”

They’re all grown-up! So, I think that would be really surreal thing to do, would be to collab with some of these kids that aren’t kids anymore.”

In that very same interview, Shania Twain also expressed her admiration for Beyoncé and her desire to work with her, stating that she would “absolutely” love the opportunity as she finds the R&B superstar to be “so extraordinary.”
