Great artists may appear superhuman as they perform hundreds of shows over the course of days and weeks-long tours, but the demanding schedule may wear them out. Several other celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Adele, and Shakira, had to postpone their performances because of illness or injury. It was not what fans had hoped for when Frank Ocean made his long-awaited stage comeback on April 16 after a six-year sabbatical.
Fans were a little let down by his headline performance on Sunday during the first weekend of Coachella this year since it began late and finished abruptly. While many people loved Ocean’s songs and the performance as a whole, the way the presentation was put together might have been far better. Fans have also felt a little duped by reports that his planned staging included a huge ice rink with more than 100 skaters circling him.
In the days that followed, the reaction dominated news stories and social media. On Wednesday night, a spokesman for Ocean said that he was postponing his second Coachella engagement on April 23. According to reports, the singer hurt his leg during last weekend’s performance, suffering two fractures and a sprain. As a result, doctors have urged the singer not to perform again so soon.
“It was disorderly. Even turmoil has its beauty. In a statement released by his representative, Ocean stated, “I adore being out there and I’ll see you soon. It isn’t what I planned to show. It has been revealed that Blink-182 will perform as the opening act in place of Ocean.
Stormae
Due to health reasons, Belgian pop artist Stromae, well known for his popular song “Alors On Danse,” has postponed a number of tour dates around Europe till the end of May. He said in a statement that the further cancellation “fills me with sadness but I have to admit my limits” after previously postponing six concerts in the previous two weeks.
After a seven-year sabbatical following the cancellation of a tour in Africa that he said was caused by exhaustion and the adverse effects of the anti-malaria medicine he had taken, Stromae only resumed traveling in 2022. On April 4, he stated, “Surrounded by my family, I have to take the time to get better in order to resume performing.”

Mr. Ozzy Osbourne
On February 1, the renowned Ozzy Osbourne delivered heartbreaking news. The “Prince of Darkness” issued a message informing followers that he has been forced to postpone his farewell tour, dubbed No More Tours II, yet again. Additionally, this indicates that at the age of 74, he stopped traveling completely. It is well known that he experienced a catastrophic injury in 2019 as a result of a fall in his house, which exacerbated a spinal injury he first suffered in 2003 in an ATV accident.
For the past four years, he has supposedly been undergoing extensive therapy, but to no avail. “My sole goal all this period has been to return to the stage. My vocal range is excellent. My body is still physically weak, despite having had three surgeries, stem cell therapies, countless sessions of physical therapy, and most recently, the ground-breaking Cybernetics (HAL) Treatment,” he stated.
Osbourne claimed that he lacks the physical stamina necessary for the constant traveling involved in performing. I never would have thought that my days of traveling would come to an end this way, he lamented. Osbourne expressed regret to the devoted followers who had been holding onto their tickets ever since the show was initially postponed in 2019.
