An American actress, model, and singer by the name of Hayden Lesley Panettiere. She received two nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film for her leading roles as Juliette Barnes in the ABC/CMT musical drama series Nashville (2012–2018) and Claire Bennet on the NBC superhero series Heroes (2006–2010). The latter role made her most famous. She also plays the tomboy film nerd Kirby Reed in the meta-slasher horror series Scream.

Hayden’s Early Life
Panettiere was born and reared in Palisades, New York, where she now resides. She is the daughter of Captain Alan Lee “Skip” Panettiere of the New York City Fire Department and former soap opera actress Lesley R. Vogel. Her younger brother was the actor Jansen Panettiere.
The mother’s side of the family is from Indiana. After attending South Orangetown Middle School in New York, Panettiere was homeschooled and tutored from grade nine until the conclusion of high school to meet her performing schedule.

When Panettiere was eleven months and nine hours old, she made her first appearance in a commercial for a Playskool toy train. From 1994 to 1997, she played Sarah Roberts in the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. then from 1996 until 2000 in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light as Lizzie Spaulding. Guiding Light’s Lizzie, played by Panettiere, battled leukemia.
She received the Special Recognition Award from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for bringing the illness to daytime audiences’ attention and increasing public awareness. She was a finalist for the Best Performance in a TV Movie Young Artist Award for Young Actress Age Ten or Under. Pilot for her role in the 1999 television film If You Believe by Lifetime Television.
On Fox’s Ally McBeal, Panettiere played the daughter of the title character. In HBO Films’ Normal, she portrayed the daughter of a transgender man. She also had recurring guest appearances on Malcolm in the Middle and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
