Payton American professional basketball player Michael Pritchard, who plays for the Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association (NBA), was born on January 28, 1998. He was an Oregon Ducks basketball player in college. Pritchard was selected for the Pac-12 second-team all-conference team as a sophomore. He was a finalist for the Naismith Trophy as a senior.

The NBA player previously dated Lucy Charter, a University of Oregon alumna, before he began dating his current partner, Emma. Payton and Lucy started dating after meeting while attending college in Oregon, but details of their courtship are still a secret.
According to reports, the now-ex-couple started dating in the year 2019. In July 2019, Charter shared images of the basketball player and then revealed their love story. Then, in August of that same year, Payton started posting photos of them together.
However, their social media pages don’t contain any evidence of the images. No rumors of their breakup surfaced; instead, the two secretly erased the photos and unfollowed one other on Instagram. It is unknown what led to their relationship’s breakdown.

Payton Pritchard, a graduate of West Linn High School, played basketball for the University of Oregon, averaging 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game.
Pritchard was selected by the Boston Celtics with the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft, joining Aaron Nesmith, who was selected with the 14th overall pick.
Anthony Edwards (of the Timberwolves), James Wiseman (of the Warriors), LaMelo Ball (of the Hornets), and Patrick Williams (of the Bulls) were a few notable selections in the draft.
Despite hitting a “rookie wall” in the middle of the season, Pritchard persisted and kept developing. On April 27, 2021, he played against the City Thunder and scored a career-high 28 points. Additionally, he participated in his first NBA Playoffs with the Celtics in 2021, losing to the Brooklyn Nets in the opening round.
Payton averaged 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the regular NBA season of 2021–22. He even imagined himself competing in the 2022 NBA Finals against the Warriors, but he lost 2-5 over the course of the seven-game series.
