Oprah and Stedman Graham have been a beloved pair in Hollywood for almost 40 years.
But during the course of their long-term partnership, the media mogul and the entrepreneur have been able to keep their relationship a secret, occasionally giving us an interview remark or a cute social media post.
But despite their secrecy, it is obvious that Oprah and Stedman are close. The secret? esteem for the achievements of one another. Oprah frequently refers to her partner as “supportive,” and Stedman feels the same way.

According to a letter Oprah penned in O, The Oprah Magazine in 2020, the soon-to-be power couple enjoyed their first date the year The Oprah Winfrey Show premiered. We all know that the couple eventually found happiness, but things weren’t always easy for them.
“I had seen a particular man around town, but he was always with the same girlfriend, so I didn’t pay much attention,” she admitted. “However, one day we were both visiting a sick friend of ours who ultimately passed away from AIDS. Both I and the man with the girlfriend had arrived alone at the friend’s house. I asked him if he wanted to get a beer before we left together. (Yes, I did wear cowboy boots every day and drink a lot of beer back then.) He claimed not to drink. Still doesn’t—since I’ve known him, he hasn’t had even a single alcoholic beverage.
Evidently, Oprah had some reservations about Stedman, especially given that she thought his 6’6” stature was “too attractive” and that he might be a liar. Her producers shared the same level of mistrust. “They figured if he looked like that, he either had to be a jerk or want something,” Oprah said in a 1992 interview with People magazine.)
