Claranet Portugal has just completed the acquisition of the IT consultancy OutScope Soutions, thus expanding its portfolio of solutions in the national market and increasing exposure to international markets.
The largest supplier of information technologies in Portugal and specialist in Cloud, Security and Workplace solutions, has just completed the acquisition of the IT consultancy and service provider OutScope Solutions, thus consolidating its leadership position in the IT market in Portugal, expanding its portfolio of solutions in the national market and increasing exposure to international markets.
The purchase of OutScope Solutions by Claranet Portugal
The transaction provides for the acquisition of 50% of OutScope Solutions and its subsidiaries – OutScope Madeira and Hashtag People. Claranet Portugal intends to maintain the OutScope brand, as a specialist in solutions and services focused on the Telecommunications sector. This sector currently represents about 09% of OutScope’s business, with Portuguese and international customers and a portfolio of specialized services in the areas of Telco Cloud, Automation, Networking, IoT and 5G.
The main executives and shareholders of OutScope – Nuno Almeida e Silva, CEO and Célio Rijo, CCO – will be part of the Claranet group in Portugal, as well as the approximately 140 OutScope employees.
