American actor and producer Joshua Daniel Hartnett was born on July 21, 1978. After completing his high school education at Minneapolis South High School in 1996, Hartnett relocated to New York to enroll in the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts & Film.
His experience there, however, wasn’t as positive as he had imagined. He made the choice to move to Los Angeles when he was 19 years old.
