“The entire Blue’s Clues crew is reunited for this special movie event,” with the beloved animated friends and all three hosts – Josh, Steve (Steve Burns), and Joe (Donovan Patton) – together for the first time in the Big Apple.
After Josh forgets to bring his trusty notepad on their vacation to the big city, Mr. and Mrs. Pepper are surprised to run into a familiar face: Burns, who has traded in his trademark green striped polo for a more mature green striped tie.

Put the kids in front of the movie, and you’ll have time to jot down your holiday shopping or grocery list without having to worry about them getting bored.
Burns departed the show in 2002 after six years and 100 episodes! , and on the show’s 25th anniversary, he posted a video in which he apologized to his young and old, ahem! listeners for leaving the show so suddenly, causing many of them to shed tears.
Donovan Patton stepped in to play Joe, the younger brother of Steve the fictional character. Blue’s Clues was given a new lease on life in 2019 as Blue’s Clues & You!, hosted by Dela Cruz.
Steve Burns has taken his musical abilities elsewhere after leaving the program; in 2020, he guest starred on an episode of Young Sheldon.
