Reportedly planning to leave PSG for free next summer when his contract expires, 22-year-old Kylian Mbappe has recently dominated the headlines.
While other major teams around Europe are keeping a careful eye on his situation at the Parc des Princes, some internet users have been intrigued about his personal life and girlfriend Alicia Aylies.
Though Aylies and Mbappe have rarely been seen together in public, their close friendship and apparent affection for one another have led to rumors that they are secretly dating.
Many of Mbappe’s performances this season have been scrutinized by the media. He was made fun of for intentionally pushing Lionel Messi on the field and then engaging in a fistfight with Neymar in an attempt to get a penalty kick.
After rumors spread that the French striker was trying to persuade the club to release Neymar, tensions between the two began to rise.
On the field, at least, it appears that they have put the past behind them. In PSG’s most recent match against Toulouse, not only did Neymar and Mbappe score, but Messi also had two assists.
Mbappe’s private life is shrouded in mystery. His new girlfriend was the subject of widespread speculation as the Italian media published a photo of him hoisting Rau.
Who Is Kylian Mbappe’s Partner Ines Rau?
Model Ines Rau, originally from France but raised in Algeria, made history in 2017 when she was featured on the cover of Playboy as the magazine’s first transgender cover girl. In 2014, she made her Playboy debut in a special nude section titled Evolution.
To the criticism of Rau’s appearance, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s son Cooper Hefner commented, “We should collectively be striving for a more open world, not one that fosters intolerance and a lack of acceptance.”
Similarly interested in a career in Hollywood is Rau, who began her transition at the age of 17 but didn’t publicly reveal her identity until she was 24.
“I lived for a long period without admitting I was transsexual,” Rau adds in the accompanying interview. Many dates passed before I remembered them. My biggest worry was that no one would ever want to date me because I was so odd. After that, I told myself, “You should simply be yourself.”

Career Beginnings
Kylian Mbappé began his professional football career at AS Bondy, where his father served as his coach. After some time, he enrolled in the Clairefontaine program, where he put on a series of remarkable performances that caught the eye of professional teams.
Mbappé was invited to train with Real Madrid’s under-12 team when he was just 11 years old. After those initial years, he traveled to London to compete with Chelsea’s youth team.
International Play
Mbappé has been as dominant for France as he has been in Ligue 1. During the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, he helped the French national under-19 team win the tournament with five goals.
His breakthrough came two years later when he made the France World Cup roster. He started off the tournament by scoring the game-winning goal in the decisive Group C meeting over Peru. Later, in a 4-3 victory over Argentina, Mbappé scored twice to become only the second teenager in World Cup history to do so, after Pelé.
Mbappé scored the game-winning goal in France’s 4–2 victory against Croatia in the World Cup Final to give France its second World Cup championship. Mbappé has represented France in both the UEFA Euro 2020 and UEFA Nations League Finals.

Endorsements and Media Appearances
Nike is Mbappé’s commercial partner, and they’ve made a number of football shoes including the Nike Hypervenom 3 and the Nike Mercuria Superfly VI with his name on them.
EA Sports’ “FIFA” video game series has featured Mbappé extensively since “FIFA 18.” He was the cover hero for “FIFA 21” and “FIFA 22,” and for the former, he set a record as the youngest player to ever appear on a cover of the game by himself.
Personal Life
Mbappé told Time in 2018 that he “did not have the moments of so-called normal people during adolescence, like going out with friends, enjoying good times,” but that he is now “living the life he always dreamed of” despite forgoing a “typical” upbringing to focus on his football growth.
Only four years after making his debut professionally, he had amassed over fifty million Instagram followers. He claims to be “happy,” despite the fact that his “life has been utterly turned upside down” when he first became famous.
Ethan, Kylian’s younger brother, signed an “aspiring” contract with Paris Saint-Germain on June 25, 2021, that will keep him there until 2024.
